I have tried all sorts of exercise that would encompass everything I need – conditioning, strength building, stretching, toning, breathing and mind tuning. I am a busy Mum with an active job so I need an exercise that doesn’t take up too much time or exhaist me or create a hassle in my day. With Pilates I can escape work for 45 minutes and retirn without having to shower and carry all the shampoosm towels etc.I know it works becaise I don’t get my lower back pain anymore and my mind becomes clear and focused. The Tiaki team is warm and friendly and can incorporate a laigj every npw and then so we don’t take it all too seriously. I would totally recommend Tiaki Pilates to anyone. “Pilates is just fabulous! It has in fact changed my life completely.
After a very bad fall almost 15 years ago I started Pilates to strengthen my core. I could not walk far or stand for very long and thought my dancing days were over. Now not only can I boogie the night away with the best of them but I also belong to a walking group. How’s that for a turn-around! I go as often as I can and find my back pain reduces significantly and my muscles are more toned than they have been for years.I was a regular gym junky but find reformer Pilates re-shapes and tones the body for me far better than anything else. The Tiaki Pilates studio is spacious with lots of reformers and the instructors are always super friendly and helpful. They have a wealth of Pilates knowledge and skill between them and make the classes really interesting and enjoyable. One of the things I enjoy the most is the huge variety of different exercises you can do on a reformer …. it’s really quite astounding. The better you get, the harder it can get so it is always a challenge. Add to that great yoga classes, massage, physiotherapy and very reasonable fees – hard to beat really so I recommend you give it a try.”
